High efficiency permanent magnet 160 kW variable speed compressor
The LU 160 PM range combines permanent magnet motors with variable speed operation to match airflow precisely to demand, significantly reducing power consumption compared with fixed speed machines. Built on the LU‑series industrial platform, the compressors integrate high‑efficiency cooling surfaces, optimised filtration paths and durable separation components designed for continuous industrial duty.
Pressure stability is achieved through regulated speed control that limits unnecessary unloading and supports consistent downstream pressure. The AIRLOGIC² T colour touchscreen controller displays running hours, temperatures, pressure data, alarms and service reminders, while optional ICONS connectivity enables remote performance insight and maintenance planning.
The LU 160 PM range is designed for streamlined maintenance, with wide‑opening panels and logically arranged air, oil and cooling circuits that simplify inspection and replacement of filters, separators and lubricant. Externally accessible service components reduce downtime during routine maintenance tasks.
Multi-prefiltration protects internal components, while high‑efficiency separation extends lubricant life. The AIRLOGIC² T controller supports predictive maintenance through alarm logs and service reminders, enabling planned interventions and improved uptime.
