Energy efficient refrigerant drying from 2.6 to 26 m³/min
The LR 26-260 range is engineered to deliver dependable refrigerant‑based drying for compressed air systems of almost any size. Warm, saturated inlet air is precooled by outgoing dry air, then chilled in the evaporator to condense moisture, which is removed by a high‑efficiency separator and electronic drain before the air is reheated for safe distribution.
A compact 3‑in‑1 heat exchanger keeps pressure drop low, while proven refrigerant compressors, copper condensers and hot‑gas bypass control help maintain a stable dew point under changing operating conditions. With models ranging from compact LR26 units to high‑capacity LR260 versions, users can closely match dryer size to system demand and layout.
LR 26-260 dryers are designed for simple, low‑effort maintenance. The refrigerant circuit is factory set, so routine work focuses on visual inspections, condenser cleaning, drain checks and verification of correct airflow. Proper upstream filtration and a clean installation environment help maintain drying performance and extend service intervals.
Electronic drains and accessible components reduce service time during planned inspections. Maintenance frequency can be adapted to site conditions, with lighter workloads in clean environments and more frequent checks in dusty or humid installations to ensure consistent performance.
By removing moisture before it enters the distribution network, LR dryers help prevent corrosion, scaling, valve failures and product defects, reducing unplanned downtime and maintenance across the compressed air system. Low internal pressure drop minimises the additional compressor power required for drying.
The wide LR 26-260 size range allows accurate matching to actual air demand, avoiding oversizing and unnecessary energy use. Combined with robust components and straightforward maintenance, this results in a low total cost of ownership and reliable long‑term air quality.
