Permanent magnet 7.5–75 kW compressors for compact, efficient air supply
The L 7.5–75 PMI series covers oil‑injected screw compressors from 7.5 to 75 kW, combining permanent‑magnet motors with variable‑speed operation to deliver efficient compressed air for workshops and small to medium industrial sites. Direct coupling reduces transmission losses, while compact frames allow installation close to production equipment without occupying excessive floor space.
An optimised cooling layout maintains temperature stability during extended operation, supporting reliable continuous duty. TMDD configurations combine compressor, receiver, dryer and multistage filtration into a coordinated system, reducing installation effort, minimising pressure drop and delivering stable, clean air for demanding applications such as laser cutting.
The L7.5–75 PMI series is designed for fast, user‑friendly maintenance. Wide‑opening panels provide quick access to filters, separators and coolers, while a front pre‑filter mesh captures dust before it reaches internal components, helping preserve long‑term performance.
TMDD versions simplify servicing further by centralising air treatment components in one module. This reduces inspection points, shortens planned maintenance time and supports stable system uptime in everyday industrial operation.
Permanent‑magnet motors and direct‑drive transmission reduce internal losses and improve overall energy efficiency. Variable‑speed operation allows the compressor to adapt to fluctuating demand, lowering idle losses and reducing electricity costs over the machine’s lifetime.
TMDD configurations deliver additional savings through faster installation, reduced piping and lower system pressure drop. Together, these benefits lower total cost of ownership while ensuring reliable, clean compressed air for workshop and production environments.
